2010-2011 Application
PURPOSE
To aid needy students who have maintained a good scholastic record to continue their education at the college level.
ELIGIBILITY
High school graduates who desire to enroll in an accredited college or university. Students must be residents of Ohio.
AWARDS
Up to 30 awards in the amount of $500 for the current academic year per student with renewal application privilege for three more years in competition with all other applicants. Each academic year the number of awards may change.
CAREERS PREFERRED
Engineering, Physical Science (Chemistry, Physics, Biology), Biological Science (Botany, Zoology), Medicine (including Pre-Med and Nursing), Health Careers (Physical and Occupational Therapy), Religion, Teaching and Social Work.
OTHER PREFERENCES
This is not a program to aid those with the highest scholastic record, nor those from families of average income or better. We desire to help the sons and daughters of families that have had more than their share of life’s adversities.
STUDENTS OBLIGATION
There is no legal obligation that compels a student to repay. We sincerely hope that enough students will voluntarily contribute to this fund if and when they are successful so that other students may receive at least the same opportunity they had.
