Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation Scholarship Program

PURPOSE The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Foundation Scholarship Program provides scholarship opportunities to individuals pursuing a career in the music industry. Students who plan to pursue a college major in music, business, marketing or a discipline directly related are eligible to apply.
The ideal candidate will have an interest in or experience with music (e.g. musician, marketing and promotion, radio broadcasting, film/sound recording, etc.). Students eligible for this award must demonstrate financial need and fall within income guidelines (three times the federal poverty guidelines) as reported on the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). High school coursework must include a college-preparatory curriculum, and applicants must have the intention of enrolling in a Pell-eligible two- or four-year college or university on a full-time basis.
Five semi-finalists will be chosen to interview with a selection committee. Two selected finalists will receive a four-year renewable college scholarship of $2,565.25 per year (total of $10,625 per student over four years of study).

- Letter of recommendation from an individual who can attest to your commitment to the music industry
- Personal Essay
- Official copy of high school transcript showing cumulative grade point
- 2009 Student Aid Report or Copy of FAFSA
- Copy of College Financial Aid Award Letter (if available)
