Hitachi Medical Systems - Robert A. Schlueter Memorial Scholarship

PURPOSE
To assist dependent sons and daughters of employees, who meet specific criteria, finance their education.
ELIGIBILITY
- Student applicants must be dependents of an HMSA employee who has at least one year of continuous service with HMSA as of May 2, 2010 and continues to be employed by the company in order for the scholarship to be renewable in subsequent years.
- Applicants may be high school seniors graduating in 2010, college undergraduates or high school graduates not currently enrolled in college.
- The student selected to receive an award for the 2010-2011 Hitachi Medical Systems America, Inc. Robert A. Schlueter Memorial Scholarship (the award) must have had a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5 based on a 4.0 scale during his/her high school or college years.
- The student selected for the award should follow a full-time college course of study or major in a four-year college or university, two-year junior or community college or vocational-technical school. The student must complete a minimum of six course hours each grading period.
SCHOLARSHIP AWARD
HMSA will award one (1) renewable $2,000 scholarships for academic year2010-2011. The scholarships will be disbursed at the beginning of the academic year.
