Eaton Multicultural Scholarship

PURPOSE
The scholarship is designed to provide educational assistance to a diverse mix of undergraduate students who have an interest in a career in manufacturing upon graduation and demonstrate a high level of leadership, motivation and academic achievement.
QUALIFICATIONS
Pursuing an undergraduate degree (with a minimum of one year completed) at the following colleges/universities, with a GPA of 3.0 or higher:
- Arizona State University
- Carnegie Mellon University
- Georgia Inst of Technology
- Indiana University
- Michigan State University
- North Carolina State University
- The Ohio State University
- Purdue University
- University of Michigan
- University of Minnesota
- University of South Carolina
Applicants must be students who are authorized to work in the US without visa sponsorship and plan to major in areas that would lead to a career in manufacturing. The applicant must submit a resume which highlights that the applicant is actively involved in leadership activities and submit two letters of recommendation from university/college faculty. The applicant must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and must submit official transcripts. Finally, the applicant must submit a personal statement (500-600 words) explaining "Why Corporate Social Responsibility is important to you and what should companies, like Eaton, be doing to further impact the global environment and create a sustainable future."
