CSP Alumni! We want YOUR help!
Your relationship with CSP does not end once you’ve earned your degree. It’s easy to stay involved and give back to CSP to ensure the continuity and longevity of our programs. Volunteer, support the current students, and contribute to the organization. Here are a few ways that YOU can reconnect with CSP today!
  • Mentor a CSP Student

Remember how difficult it was to navigate both the academic and social aspects of college life? Mentoring relationships are vital in providing a student with the support and guidance necessary to persevere and succeed. Knowing that you are accessible can make a world of difference to a CSP student pursuing a post-secondary degree. Sign up for the Online Mentoring Program [hyperlink to OnlineMentoringProgramDesc] today!

  • Make a financial contribution to CSP

Financial contributions are instrumental in supporting CSP’s programs that promote the success of traditional and adult learners each year. Inquire about your company’s Matching Gifts program to stretch your donation even further. Gifts of all sizes are valued and appreciated. Donate now! [hyperlink to donation page]

  • Volunteer with the Alumni Speakers’ Bureau

Having traveled the road before them, your experiences and perspectives are invaluable in instilling confidence in CSP students. Both high school and college students alike will appreciate hearing your story and connecting with CSP alumni with whom they can relate. Your success and encouraging words serve as an inspiration for our students!

  • Host or plan an alumni gathering

Whether it’s a backyard BBQ, a cocktail party, a book club, a bowling event, or a financial seminar, CSP alumni can congregate to socialize and build relationships. If you are interested in contributing your space, talents, and enthusiasm towards the enhancement of CSP alumni relations, please contact the Alumni Coordinator at mghoston@cspohio.org.

  • Attend alumni events

Join us for networking, social, and family-oriented events that engage alumni on a number of levels. Past events include CSP Day at the Jake, CSP Day at the Zoo, Summer Send-off picnics, and an Alumni Wine Tasting event. We welcome your ideas!

  • Volunteer for CSP events

We are seeking volunteers for special CSP events, and alumni are the perfect people for the job! Check the list of upcoming events for opportunities to get involved, and let your CSP pride shine in the community!

  • Join the Alumni Advisory Council

The Alumni Advisory Council consists of a core of alumni who are dedicated to taking the reigns and actively engaging alumni, supporting the current students, and raising awareness and funds for the organization. Join a council sub-committee to have your ideas count towards the development of the Alumni Network.

  • Host a summer intern

CSP students seek exposure to a number of professions and trades each year. Are you able to accommodate an intern in your company? Alumni can also serve as hosts for Career Day, Shadow Day, or National Take Your Daughters & Sons to Work Day. Assist us in providing bright CSP students with increased avenues for career exploration and hands-on experience.

  • Start a scholarship fund

If you would like to create a scholarship fund in your name or in honor of another, you can do so through CSP’s Managed Fund Program. You can set your own qualifications and assist in selecting the recipient, as well. To leave a legacy in the form of a scholarship fund, please contact the financial aid department at (216) 241-5587 x113 for more information on managed funds.
