We are Cleveland Scholarship Programs, Inc.-- Northeast Ohio’s only regional resource promoting educational awareness and opportunity to enrich our community and prepare the workforce of tomorrow.
An overview of CSP’s accomplishments:
- Last year, we assisted more than 23,000 individuals with our programs and services.
- In the 2006-07 academic year, we disbursed $2.8 million to more than 2,000 individuals with scholarships averaging $1,350 per student.
- CSP was ranked in the top one percent of charities by Charity Navigator, the nation’s top nonprofit evaluation service.
But to us, it’s about more than scholarships--it’s about leading a generation into the future. Our nationally emulated programs provide financial aid, college and career advisory services, motivation for students and college retention programs. Our unique “playground to placement” approach provides supportive services to students as early as elementary school and follows them through their postsecondary pursuits. We also recognize today’s youth as the economy’s strongest asset as we create and maintain programs to jumpstart careers in the area. With strong financial stewardship, we maximize our continuum of service, helping students of all ages receive the tools and resources necessary for success.
CSP is a member of National College Access Network (NCAN), and the Ohio College Access Network (OCAN).
